As Daiichi, we are in automotive electronics as a Tier-1 supplier for global OEMs specialized in hardware, software, and mechanical development of line fit infotainment systems: multimedia radios with connectivity, shark antenna, wireless/USB chargers, speakers, AVAS and other electronic modules. By being a member of Doğan Holding Group of Companies, our Headquarter is in Istanbul and we operate R&D and technical centers, manufacturing sites, and customer support services in 7 countries: Turkey, Italy, USA, France, China, Uzbekistan (CIS) and India.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for active, passive, and electromechanical components.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s global supply chain and sustainability targets.
  • Conduct supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, sustainability) and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams during product development phases to ensure component availability and cost efficiency.
  • Benchmark market trends, risks, and alternative technologies to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage cost-saving projects and ensure achievement of annual purchasing targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations in procurement activities.
  • Manage cost analysis and component sourcing not only for running mass production projects but also for new business quotation processes, ensuring competitive and accurate cost structures for customer offers.
  • Support project acquisition phase by preparing and validating component cost breakdowns; ensure seamless transition from quotation to mass production purchasing once business is awarded.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in electronic components or the automotive industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Good understanding of global electronic component market dynamics.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
