Purchasing & General Cashier Agent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Process purchase orders and requisitions for supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
  • Manage daily cash operations, including cash receipts, disbursements, and deposits.
  • Reconcile cash transactions and prepare daily cash reports.
  • Ensure the secure handling and storage of cash and cash equivalents.
  • Maintain and balance petty cash funds.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and advances.
  • Assist in preparing cash forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies related to cash handling.
  • Provide support during audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for both purchasing and cash transactions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on purchasing activities, cash flows, and financial discrepancies.
  • Document and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchasing or cash handling.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma.
  • Experience of 1 year in Purchasing or 2 years Cashiering in a hotel.
  • 3+ years of experience a cashier and Purchasing a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis and management.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
