Bring your organization, attention to detail, and passion for retail to a role where no two days are the same. As a Purchasing & Inventory Planner with Castle Megastore, you’ll play a key role in keeping product moving smoothly from vendor to store.

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as the link between Buyers, Inventory Management, Merchandising, and the Distribution Center.
  • Assist Buyers with weekly transfer requisitions, product data entry, and recap reporting on sales, gross profit, and inventory results.
  • Manage inventory data, upload SKUs, and handle purchase orders from entry through approval.
  • Track vendor orders and follow up on back orders, returns, credits, and shipping discrepancies.
  • Support decisions on product life cycles by analyzing sales trends and performance.
  • Partner with Distribution Center staff to ensure timely delivery and smooth product flow.
  • Roll out updated merchandising plans and new product decks across stores, keeping presentations fresh and consistent.
  • Contribute hands-on in the Distribution Center when needed—reviewing received products and ensuring quality.
  • Occasionally travel to support store rollouts and trade shows.
  • Step in where needed — flexibility and teamwork are key!
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Microsoft Suite – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfort with data entry, reporting, and systems, balanced with hands-on merchandising know-how.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
✨Scheduling Requirements / Working Conditions:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 100% onsite
  • Regularly spend long hours sitting, standing and using office equipment and computers.
  • Must be able to lift to 30lbs.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours to meet critical deadlines
  • Possible travel with store employees to support business needs.
