Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at our Dallas, TX headquarters. The ideal candidate is an eager learner and motivated self-starter who can oversee all purchasing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient procurement processes that support our manufacturing operations. This position also includes responsibility for spare parts sales, shipping coordination, and logistical support as our batch plants transition to customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute all purchasing functions for manufacturing operations.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels for production and spare parts.
  • Process purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to purchasing protocols.
  • Oversee spare parts sales, including order fulfillment and shipping coordination.
  • Provide logistical support for equipment shipments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to support operational efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate purchasing processes for improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of standard purchasing protocols and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:
