We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations, supplier relationships, and inventory control to support our fabrication and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all purchasing activities for materials, parts, and services to support production schedules and company objectives.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and subcontractors.

Analyze market trends, material costs, and lead times to forecast purchasing needs.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to meet project material requirements.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company procurement procedures.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Manage and track inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

Supervise and develop purchasing staff (if applicable).

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of metal fabrication materials (structural steel, electrical components, hardware, etc.).

Experience working in ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
