We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support the procurement function by sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely purchase of goods vital to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and submit purchase agreements to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
  • Research potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing to support cost saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts and supplier agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support reordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with finance, operations, and other departments to align procurement needs.
  • Resolve order, delivery, or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to identifying cost saving opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement software is an advantage (PETPOOJA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From BD300.000 per month
