Purchase Officer

• · Ensure competitive pricing, on-time delivery, and quality of materials and parts.

· Source, select, and negotiate favorable purchase terms with suppliers, covering quality, price, delivery, and services.

· Identify and onboard new suppliers; negotiate contracts, discounts, and volume rebates.

· Manage both local and overseas deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at the site/store.

· Proactively analyze and recommend improvements to procurement activities, such as using quantity discounts and cooperative purchasing.

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, visiting them as necessary.

· Coordinate with suppliers and end-user departments to resolve supply-related issues.

· Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and transportation-related issues.

· Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and ensure they align with company policies and requirements.

· Track and manage records of ordered and received goods.

· Administer online purchasing systems and maintain accurate data for audits and reporting.

· Negotiate, monitor, and manage contracts to ensure they meet company standards.

· Process invoices, payments, and maintain reference materials for future contracts.

· Analyze market trends, product availability, and delivery systems to forecast needs.

· Forecast product and service demand to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.

· Regularly monitor stock levels and ensure that purchasing plans are aligned with production or service needs.

· Conduct a comprehensive review of the procurement process, implementing improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and overall procurement practices.

· Prepare regular reports on market conditions, pricing trends, and vendor performance.

· Maintain a comprehensive record of contracts and agreements for future reference.

· Take on any additional tasks assigned by the reporting manager related to procurement or business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD350.000 - BD450.000 per month
