About the Role:
As a Purchasing & Procurement Associate Director (Strategic Sourcing – Global Workforce & AI Transformation), you will lead transformation in the Global Workforce category, which is undergoing rapid change due to AI adoption and evolving contracting models. This role combines strategic sourcing expertise with innovation leadership, focusing on building category strategies, driving supplier consolidation, and implementing governance frameworks. You will partner with technology and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with long-term organizational goals.
Experience and Skills | Sourcing Specific
  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in Sourcing:
  • The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, including managing complex sourcing projects and evolving categories such as labor/workforce and technology services.
  • Large deal negotiation experience (exceeding $5 million) and spend under management of at least $50 million:
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing large-scale agreements, ideally including labor categories and technology services, with total contract values exceeding $5 million and spend under management of $50 million or more.
  • Technology and Workforce category experience:
  • Hands-on experience sourcing technology services (cloud, infrastructure, software) and workforce solutions, including time-and-material and managed services models. Familiarity with hyperscale's (AWS, Azure, GCP) and emerging AI-driven solutions is highly desirable.
  • Supplier management and governance expertise:
  • Strong background in supplier relationship management, implementing governance frameworks, and driving performance tracking for outcome-based contracts. Ability to consolidate suppliers and implement preferred supplier programs.
General
  • Skills and track record – progression within current company:
  • Demonstrated career progression within current or previous organizations, ideally achieving promotion within three to four years, reflecting ability to take on increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical background and advanced skills in managing complex spreadsheets:
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and scenario modeling. Ability to analyze supplier performance and develop strategic insights.
  • Strategy and Transformation skills:
  • Experience creating and implementing category strategies and transformation initiatives, particularly in evolving categories impacted by AI adoption and new contracting models. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
  • Working in a complex international environment:
  • Proven experience operating in a global, multi-divisional organization, managing sourcing projects across regions and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills:
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Presenting in executive meetings and developing a strong executive presence:
  • Skilled in presenting strategic recommendations and building credibility with senior leadership.
  • Working in a dynamic and multicultural environment:
  • Comfortable navigating cultural differences and adapting to diverse business environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead category transformation for Global Workforce, focusing on AI-driven efficiencies and new contracting models.
  • Develop and implement strategic category plans for labor and technology services.
  • Drive supplier rationalization and implement preferred supplier frameworks.
  • Introduce governance processes to improve maturity in supplier management and outcome tracking.
  • Partner with CTO, CIO, and functional leaders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends in AI, labor sourcing, and technology services to inform strategy.
  • Present strategic recommendations and progress updates to executive leadership.

Compensation:
$111,200.00 - $198,650.00 USD
This role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
