About the Role

Waari.in is looking for a creative and commercially sound Purchase & Product Executive to develop, curate, and manage unique travel products and experiences. This role combines destination expertise, vendor negotiation, cost optimization, and experiential product design to build differentiated tour offerings for both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and develop domestic and international travel products with a focus on unique, premium, and experiential itineraries.
  • Create new tour products, refine existing itineraries, and introduce innovative experiences aligned with Waari’s brand positioning.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with hotels, DMCs, transporters, activity providers, and local vendors.
  • Manage purchase contracts, rate negotiations, inclusions, and seasonal pricing strategies.
  • Ensure competitive costing while maintaining service quality and margins.
  • Work closely with sales, GIT operations, and marketing teams to align products with market demand.
  • Maintain updated destination knowledge, visa rules, seasons, experiences, and travel trends.
  • Build and maintain a vendor database with service benchmarks and SLAs.
  • Support sales with product training, USPs, and experience-led pitches.
  • Update ERP/CRM systems with product data, pricing, inclusions, and operational notes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in travel product development, purchasing, or contracting.
  • Strong destination knowledge (India & international markets).
  • Proven ability to design unique experiences beyond standard sightseeing.
  • Excellent negotiation, costing, and vendor management skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong commercial understanding.
  • Good communication skills and cross-team coordination ability.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP/CRM tools, and itinerary-building systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Product development: 4 years (Required)
  • Contract negotiation: 5 years (Required)
