We are looking for a "Purchasing Specialist" colleague with the qualifications listed below, who will be evaluated within the scope of Purchasing activities in our company, one of the leading companies in the energy sector.

Skills

  • Graduated from engineering faculties of universities,
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Able to produce alternative solutions by analyzing needs well
  • Team-oriented, analytical thinking skills
  • Researcher, innovative, giving importance to personal and career development
  • Having high communication skills, deliberative and persuasive ability
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English
  • Result oriented
  • Residing in İstanbul
  • No obstacle to travel


Job Responsibilities

  • Performing all purchasing activities within the organization (beginning from demand analyses, opening RFQs & tenders, performing negotiations and finalizing them with PO or contracts)
  • To ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the plans in order to adapt to plans.
  • Opening related POs, following their status and placing orders
  • Performs contracting with the suppliers, monitoring and improving them
  • Being a business partner and value adder for all supported business units
  • Execution of supplier management for improving the current supplier performances
  • Generating reports on the related procurement categories,
  • Focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities
  • Developing projects and taking part in project groups in order to ensure efficiency,
  • Ensuring that the material demand is met and making sure deliveries are made on time,
  • Developing, implementing processes and working with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
