Location: Medford (on-site)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-5pm

Compensation: $16.85-24.05/hr

The Purchasing Specialist supports our Technology & Innovation team by managing IT equipment and technology-related purchases across our nationwide network. This role ensures that our stores and Support Services teams have the right tools in place to perform at their best.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Process IT equipment requests and gather required documentation for purchases.

• Review daily emails and prioritize workload based on urgency and impact.

• Support stores and employees with purchasing questions and ensure proper approvals are in place.

• Set up and track fixed assets accurately across systems and spreadsheets.

• Communicate order updates and shipment tracking to internal teams and external vendors.

• Obtain approvals for large or project-based purchases.

• Provide guidance on the purchasing portal, available items, and how to request new items.

• Collaborate with IT teams to support purchasing needs for new store openings and other projects.

• Follow Lithia & Driveway purchasing practices and procedures.

• Process incoming packages and shipments of IT equipment.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (IT purchasing preferred).

• Understanding of purchasing processes and IT equipment terminology.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and service.
