Job Description:

The Purchasing Specialist supports the company’s purchasing and logistics operations by managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, and inventory control. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective purchasing processes while maintaining accurate records and supporting local operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planning: Develop purchasing plans aligned with production and business needs.
• Analysis: Conduct cost and vendor analyses to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
• Coordination: Resolve supplier issues, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain effective communication with vendors.
• Inventory: Manage monthly inventory, perform audits, and track material usage.
• Supervision: Oversee local staff, including office clerks and forklift operators, to support daily operations.
• Reporting: Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, control logistics costs, and prepare monthly sales and operations reports.

Qualifications Required:

• Language: Fluent in both English and Korean, verbally and in writing to facilitate effective communication with Korean-speaking headquarters, vendors, and supply chain partners.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level candidates with relevant academic or internship experience.
