ERENSAN exports 60% of its production to 80 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, including France, Italy, England, Russia and Spain.

In 2011, ERENSAN joined forces with the global heating sector leader, French GROUPE ATLANTIC, in order to accelerate its local and global growth plans. Following the merger of two large groups, ERENSAN is taking robust steps towards achieving its global targets.ERENSAN continued its investment programme without slowing down and was selected as the Groupe Atlantic R&D Competence Centre in 2017. The company has its own team of engineers in the R&D department, enabling it to design boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and economisers and develop products for different applications.

To support our development, we are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our teams.

1. We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to manage our procurement operations.
2. This role is critical in ensuring effective supplier selection, cost control, compliance with procedures, and improving operational efficiency.
3. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. In addition, team management and reporting skills will be key to success in this position.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Supervisor will be responsible for managing procurement activities within his/her scope, in line with company objectives:

• Support decision-making in procurement : provide reliable data and analysis to management regarding purchasing budgets, supplier performance, project plans, and new sourcing opportunities.
• Work closely with managers, departments, and internal customers : ensure alignment of purchasing activities with operational needs, co-steer cost efficiency and supplier performance with each manager.
• Ensure consistency and compliance of procurement processes : follow company policies, ensure timely and accurate documentation, and coordinate with the finance/accounting team for supplier-related transactions.
• Contribute to business development and supplier relations : enhance reliability and optimization of procurement processes, develop new supplier KPIs, adapt to changing market conditions, and expand the supplier network.
• Maintain and update purchasing data in Information Systems (ERP/SAP) : ensure accurate entry, monitoring, and reporting of purchasing activities, and guarantee the relevance and reliability of supplier-related data.

BACKGROUND

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Purchasing/Procurement , with at least 5 years in a similar sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, cost analysis, and contract negotiations
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP ) and advanced use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must
• Driving license (B Class)
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Resident on the European side of Istanbul
• Open to domestic and international travel when required
