Key Responsibilities
- Lead the purchasing team and oversee all procurement operations.
- Source approved suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and services.
- Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders with accuracy and speed.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with warehouse & production teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, ISO).
- Track shipments, manage import orders, and coordinate logistics.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and purchase forecasts.
- Improve procurement procedures, workflows, and vendor database.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a production factory.
- Previous experience supervising a team is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of UAE market suppliers and international sourcing.
- ERP and MS Excel proficiency required.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Immediate joiners or short-notice candidates preferred.
