The primary role of the graphic design intern position is providing graphic design, video editing, videography and photography support to the Purdue Convocations Marketing Department. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in a professional in-house design environment. The graphic design intern position should work 10-12 hours per week during the current semester. Those hours may be worked in any combination, at the discretion of the direct supervisor. The graphic design intern position must be reliable, organized, responsible, and flexible. They must also be ambitious, detail-oriented, creative, and driven.
Prerequisite(s)
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in design, video editing and photography software (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, iMovie inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, iMovie). Candidates must provide physical or digital samples at the interview.
