PV Solar Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Conditions:

Currently, we are looking for a colleague who will establish and lead in the different phases of project engineering for Solar parks, Solar roofs, and Solar Carports for our clients across Europe.

We are originally from the Netherlands. Specializes in the development of renewable energy projects in the Benelux region and across Europe and the UK, with a main focus on Solar Energy & Battery Storage Systems

Aims to handle in-house engineering for its own projects while also offering engineering services to partners and clients. The company seeks a colleague to support both internal and external engineering tasks.

Who Are You!

An electrical engineering background, experience in solar is a plus!

At least a 2-year diploma or BSc degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy, or similar.

Preferably 1 year or more of field experience in the solar industry.

Preferably, past affiliations with mid-large scale solar parks(10MWp+) or industrial solar roofs (1MWp+).

Communication skills

The candidate must possess adequate communication skills in English, both speaking and writing as they are supposed to talk to our European clients.

Activities: Solar Engineering & Project Team support

1. Preliminary phase:

Making preliminary technical layouts/designs, through AutoCAD or Solar software such as PVsol or Helioscope.

Making preliminary yield reports through PVsyst.

Making preliminary SingleLineDiagrams.

Overall design optimization and recommendations for the development team.

Overall technical input for the development and sales team.

2. Intermediate phase:

Detailed and project engineering.

Various layouts, panels, structures, and other components.

Electrical layouts, DC, AC, Earthing, Data, communication, protections, etc.

Study of local Electrical/Solar Norms and compliance in designs.

Complete bill of materials report and overall cost calculations.

Continuous modifications and adjustments according to the requirements.

Project proposals for the development team.

Communication with various stakeholders and experts.

3.Construction phase:

Further detailing of projects.

Ready to build documentation.

Construction planning and monitoring.

As-built documentation.

Skills Requirements: (Solar Engineering)

Proven track record in solar engineering, previous works must be displayed.

Strong command in AutoCAD or Civil3D.

Strong command in Helioscope and PVSys, PVsol, or similar.

Strong command in PVsyst, or similar.

Ability to calculate BOM’s and Materials Specifications.

Ability to calculate ROI’s and Costs Analysis.

Understanding of protection systems, circuit breakers, lightning, overvoltage protections.

Strong command of electrical systems.

Strong command in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT.

Ability to write reports and proposals.

Working Days: 6 days a week.

Working Model: Hybrid

Timings: 9am - 6pm PK Time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
