PV Design Solar Engineer (European Clients)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PV Design Solar Engineer to join our growing Solar Energy Engineering team. This position focuses on designing solar PV systems for European clients — not on-site execution. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical, electrical, or energy engineering background with solid technical understanding of electrical fundamentals and hands-on experience with key solar design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in European markets.
• Prepare system layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and other industry tools.
• Perform detailed energy simulations and yield assessments using PVSyst, Helioscope, PVSol, and PVCase.
• Communicate with international clients via email and online discussions to gather requirements and deliver project updates.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant technical and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams for project and task management.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office.
• Meet deadlines and quality standards while contributing to the company’s design excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design (international exposure preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical basics (current, voltage, resistance, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVSyst (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Helioscope, PVSol, and PVCase is highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational, task management, and project management skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
