Job Summary

The Orchid School is looking for a dynamic and versatile Primary Years Education (PYE) Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons in English, Science, and STEM, along with supporting Physical Education (PE) monitoring. The ideal candidate should be energetic, creative, and capable of managing multiple subject areas while fostering a positive and active learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English, Science, and STEM subjects to Primary Years students
• Support and monitor Physical Education (PE) activities
• Plan and deliver interactive, activity-based lessons
• Develop students’ communication, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and participation in classroom activities
• Maintain lesson plans, assessments, and student progress records
• Ensure a disciplined, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff for school events, sports, and STEM activities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in Primary Years will be an advantage
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Energetic, creative, and child-friendly teaching approach
• Ability to handle multiple subjects effectively
• Interest in STEM and physical activity-based learning
