Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our growing development team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power our products. You will play a key role in shaping technical solutions and ensuring best-in-class development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable Python applications using the Django framework
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure adherence to best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Python-based web development
• Strong hands-on experience with Django
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and development best practices
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in developer communities
