Python Developer

A fast paced startup Company is hiring a Pyhton Developer for their rapidly growing team.

Job Type: Full-time, onsite

Shift Timings: 3 pm to 12 am

Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi

Industry: AI / Fintech

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs used by the iOS application and AI engine.
• Build and enhance the financial analytics library, including transaction analysis, categorization, and insight generation.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external services such as Plaid for financial data, LiveKit for real-time sessions, and cloud-based document storage.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient ingestion, transformation, and retrieval of financial data.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and actively participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across the stack when required.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong testing practices, including pytest, integration testing, and CI-driven test suites.
• Comfortable working with databases, including SQL and document-based stores.
• Experience integrating and working with third-party APIs.
• Effective communicator with the ability to take ownership of features from concept to delivery.
