Job Title: Python Developer – AI & ML Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Python Developer – AI & ML Intern to join our engineering and data science team. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, foundational knowledge of machine learning, and a passion for building intelligent systems. You will work on real-world AI/ML projects involving data processing, model development, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for AI/ML applications.
• Assist in developing and training machine learning and deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, analysis, and feature engineering.
• Work with large datasets to build predictive and analytical models.
• Implement API integrations, automation scripts, and microservices.
• Collaborate with senior developers and data scientists on model experimentation and evaluation.
• Assist in deploying ML models using Flask/FastAPI, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Document code, maintain repositories, and support ongoing ML/AI initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good proficiency in Python and common libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, etc.).
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with at least one ML framework: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, EDA, and visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, version control (Git), and debugging.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and eagerness to learn.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, or computer vision projects.
• Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS Sagemaker, GCP AI Platform, or Azure ML.
• Contribution to open-source or ML competitions (e.g., Kaggle).
