We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will

• Using Python and in-house build test tool ZeroPlus, build and maintain a testing framework to include functional and regression testing pack to run automatically for GCS.

• Aid in test execution, test evidence gathering and defect management

• Preparing and maintain test plans and execution scripts to meet application control metrics

• Become proficient in using the Zeroplus test tool and coordinating with the China test team.

• Collaborates with development team and provide feedback during testing cycle.

• Plan and schedule the test activities

• Makes strategic recommendations on test strategy and quality improvement incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices.

• Works in iterative processes with business and technology team to validates findings

• Document test results, defects, and track resolution progress in designated tools (e.g., JIRA).

• The role requires some facing off to the business and IT team based in UK, India.

• Support and training on the test tool and automated regression pack for the development team

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 8+Years Python experience

• Python, Tosca

• Knowledge of testing automation along with manual testing experience

• Test tooling implementation

• Knowledge of investment bank, ideally Custody domain

• Agile development methodology

• Hands-on experience in scripting with Python and Tosca for test automation.

• Ideally experience with Mainframe and VSAM file System

• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

• Sound knowledge / experience of testing principles. eg. static testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, Regression testing

• Sound communication skills: ability to relay information accurately and concisely to the relevant people

• Knowledge of financial instruments, especially custody and asset servicing.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.

• Strong analytical and problem solving
