Python/Django Backend Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python/Django Backend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services, integrating APIs, managing databases, and supporting new product features. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and the Django REST Framework.
• Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance, optimization, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to build APIs and new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for enhanced performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and contribute ideas to improve workflows and development processes.
• Bonus: Develop web scraping scripts for automation and data collection tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1.5+ years of experience in Python development.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
• Exposure to Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Django REST Framework.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web service architectures.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
