Python/Laravel Developer

Required Skills & Experience

Backend Development (Laravel Framework)

Strong command of Laravel 9+ and PHP 8

REST API creation and integration (JSON / OAuth2)

Guzzle / Postman experience

Middleware, queue jobs, and authentication handling

Python (AI & Automation)

FastAPI / Flask development

Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow (basic)

Data forecasting, anomaly detection, and AI-based suggestions

Database & Architecture

MySQL or PostgreSQL schema design

Data normalization and query optimization

Experience with data visualization (Chart. js, Plotly, etc. )

API Integration & Compliance

Hands-on experience with any third-party API (e. g. , Payment, Accounting, or Tax systems)

Understanding of OAuth2 and secure token handling

HMRC or MTD VAT API knowledge is a plus

Other Requirements

Good understanding of server-side deployment (Ubuntu / Nginx)

Version control (Git/GitHub)

Self-motivated and problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of UK VAT & Accounting systems

ERP or eCommerce SaaS experience

Familiarity with AI dashboards and ML model integration
