QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation, specifically focused on API and frontend testing. The ideal candidate has experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and has tested complex, customized ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for frontend (Next.js) and API (Node.js-based) applications.
• Conduct thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Create and execute automated test cases using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Analyze and report bugs, and track them through resolution.
• Write and maintain clear test documentation and test reports.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and business logic.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation focused on API and frontend testing.
• Strong experience testing applications built with Node.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Solid experience in REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
