Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Wrisk, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to define and execute test strategies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that we deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and plan test coverage.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated tests for new and existing features across Wrisk’s platform.
• Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in our QA processes and frameworks, contributing to the development of automated test suites.
• Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure platform stability after feature releases and updates.
• Cross-Device Testing: Ensure platform functionality across various devices, operating systems, and browser environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development, product, and design teams to identify areas for improvement, resolve issues, and ensure product releases are of the highest quality.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, processes, and outcomes for reference and reporting purposes.
• Performance & Security Testing: Support efforts to conduct performance and security testing, ensuring our platform meets industry standards for speed, reliability, and security.

This role is hybrid with 3-4 days a week in the office, based in Noida.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit), along with experience in testing web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable software.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, and contributing to continuous integration processes.

What’s Good to Have:

• Work experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar certification in test automation.
• Experience with agile or kanban project management frameworks.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration, database administration, or other technical skills outside the test automation domain.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Shell Scripting, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with low-code or AI-based automation tools such as Autify, Testim, and Katalon Studio.
