QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to join our QA team and lead the creation and maintenance of automated test suites. You’ll work with modern test automation tools like Watir (Ruby) and Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript), and play a key role in ensuring continuous quality across our CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ll Actually Do Here

· Build, extend, and maintain automated test scripts using Watir and Cypress within an existing automation framework

· Design automated test cases based on user story specifications and business logic

· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., TeamCity, CircleCI) to ensure rapid, reliable deployments

· Apply strong debugging skills and a solid understanding of DOM structure, selectors, and async behavior

· Log and manage issues using a defect-tracking system

· Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to validate feature functionality and overall quality

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and test automation strategy

· Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation practices and best coding standards

What You’ll Bring To Us

· 4+ years of hands-on automation experience in a software QA role

· Proficient in writing clean, reusable, and maintainable test scripts using Watir (Ruby) and Cypress (JS/TS)

· Experience working within a software development environment (minimum 1 year)

· Strong command of test case design, scripting, and test procedure documentation

· Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and CircleCI

· Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging tools

· Experience with project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

· Comfortable using work management tools (Jira, TargetProcess, Asana)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

· A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
