QA Engineer

• Job Summary:

We are hiring a In-Process QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow in quality systems, process inspection, and automotive standards. As part of the in-process QA team, you will assist in conducting inspections, identifying quality deviations, and ensuring adherence to production and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

• Key Responsibilities:

1. line and final inspections during production processes under supervision.

2. Monitor and document product quality based on work instructions and control plans.

3. Assist in identifying and reporting non-conformities to the senior QA staff or production leads.

4. Support containment and rework activities for non-conforming materials.

5. Maintain inspection records, quality logs, and relevant documentation accurately.

6. Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and company quality procedures.

7. Participate in basic root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

8. Assist in preparing reports for internal quality audits and customer complaints.

9. Collaborate with the production team to improve process compliance and product quality

• Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering

2. 0–2 years of experience in a QA/QC or inspection role (internships or apprenticeships acceptable)

3. Basic understanding of quality standards in automotive manufacturing (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred)

4. Familiarity with measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, etc.

5. Willingness to work in a shift-based and shop-floor environment

6. Good communication skills and attention to detail

7. Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured quality management system Preferred

• Skills (Nice to Have):

1. Exposure to tools like FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC

2. Knowledge of basic problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)

3. Internship experience in an automotive or manufacturing setting

Pay: ₹282,370.12 - ₹1,273,515.97 per year
