Job Summary
We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing for e-commerce and BFSI/Payment applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end testing.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with product team to review and analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements- Prepare functional test scenarios and test cases for e-commerce and payment flows
- Execute all levels of testing: System, Integration, Regression, and UAT
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium/Playwright with Java
- Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured
- Conduct database testing with SQL queries to validate data integrity
- Execute performance testing using JMeter for load and stress scenarios
- Document and track defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps
Required Skills
Domain Knowledge
- Strong BFSI/Payment domain experience (2-4 years) will add on benefits
- Understanding of payment gateway flows, transaction processing
- Knowledge of e-commerce checkout and order management workflows
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Manual testing: functional, regression, integration testing
- Automation: Selenium and/or Playwright frameworks
- Good understanding in Java programming
- API testing: REST Assured, Postman
- Database: Strong SQL skills for backend validation
- Performance: Basic knowledge in JMeter
- Defect tracking: Excellent knowledge in JIRA
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Team player with ability to work in Agile environment
