QA Engineer

Tabiat is searching for a QA Engineer, capable of ensuring high-quality releases and production-ready features. You must be an expert in quality assurance methodologies, including manual testing, automated testing frameworks, and API validation. Beyond identifying issues, you will be expected to be proactive in resolving minor bugs and small technical issues (such as UI tweaks or simple logic fixes) to streamline the production process.

You will be required to quickly learn the existing code base, adapt to existing workflows, and ensure all deliverables meet our rigorous standards. You also will be required to know development processes and tools including Git, Linear, Agile, and test-driven development.

This will be a full-time position, and you will be required to meet daily in order to understand features and goals, as well as provide bug reports and quality updates. You will be developing test plans, refining existing test cases, and contributing to the codebase by fixing defects found during the testing cycle.

Skills

• Testing Frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright)
• Basic Development (Ability to read and edit NodeJS/JavaScript for minor bug fixes)
• API Testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Databases (MySQL) (Writing queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues)
• Understanding of UX/UI (Ensuring polished features and fixing minor layout bugs)
• Git, Linear
• Strong spoken and written English

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills (Discussing bugs with developers and clarifying requirements)
• Problem-Solving (Willingness to dive into the code to fix small issues independently)
• Consistent and reliable worker (Meticulous attention to detail)

Experience

• Undergraduate degree in computer science (or related) field
• Minimum 3-5 years in software quality assurance or testing
• Experience in a hybrid role (Testing + basic development) is a plus

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
