Job Title
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
Ability to design test strategies, analyze requirements, and ensure coverage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute testing strategies and plans
Test design & Execution Test
Work closely with product owners, product definition analysts, and developers to identify testing areas as early as the design phase
Create and execute test cases based on specifications and customer requirements
Perform functional, regression, and integration tests
Prepare test environments and data.
Configuring and executing on CI/CD pipelines
Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and defect reports
Work with the Agile team to identify and diagnose the root causes of defects
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Strong knowledge of test automation tools, CI/CD practices, and frameworks
Develop and maintain automated tests and testing framework using Java with Selenium and Playwright.
Good working knowledge of API Testing using REST Assured libraries
Good working knowledge of Azure technologies and monitoring tools like Splunk and Kibana.
Act as an ambassador for test automation and shift-left testing
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes
Experience:
7- 9 years of experience is must.
**About the ideal candidate**
To succeed in your new role, you are required to have relevant experience in the following areas:
- Previous work experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java or another object-oriented programming language, with willingness to learn Java.
- Experience writing test automation with Playwright or Selenium | REST Assured
- Experience with test management tools and documentation tools, such as Spira, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience working in an Agile self-managed team
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions to implement testing within the CI cycle would be considered an advantage
- Shows traits of going beyond the role, in terms of knowledge, innovations and other attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
