The Role

Help shape quality across a world-class technology environment

London Business School are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to help drive quality across our technology delivery teams and ensure solutions are designed, built, tested and released to robust and transparent quality standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on testing professional who combines strong technical capability with a passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.

You will be accountable for driving quality within a multidisciplinary delivery team, ensuring that solutions are designed, built, tested and released to robust and transparent quality standards.

Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps and stakeholders, you will lead testing strategy and execution within your domain, combining automation, exploratory testing and structured UAT to ensure confidence in delivery.

This role balances hands-on technical testing with leadership in quality practices, acting as a champion for quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive quality across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Define and lead testing strategy and execution within your domain.
• Combine automated testing, exploratory testing and structured UAT to support confident delivery.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are tested and released against clear, robust and transparent quality standards.
• Champion quality engineering practices across the team.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in testing and release readiness.
• Balance hands-on delivery with guidance on quality processes and standards.

Who we are looking for

• Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience developing and executing test strategies across a range of delivery contexts.
• Hands-on experience with test automation.
• Strong exploratory testing skills.
• Experience coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing.
• Ability to work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle and release quality standards.
• Ability to promote and embed strong quality practices across a team.

All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week.

We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs.
