The Role

Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions
London Business School are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to help shape and operate secure, resilient and scalable cloud platforms that support the School&rsquo;s teaching, research and administrative mission.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong cloud engineer who can combine architecture, automation and operational excellence to build sustainable cloud solutions in a complex and high-impact environment.
You will be responsible for designing, delivering and operating secure, resilient and scalable cloud platforms that support the School&rsquo;s teaching, research and administrative services.
You will provide technical leadership in the development and continuous improvement of Azure-based services, ensuring platforms are reliable, cost-effective and aligned with institutional strategy, security standards and regulatory requirements.
This role will lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, drive automation and CI/CD practices through Azure DevOps, and ensure robust identity, access and device management using Entra and Windows-based services. You will also play a key role in integrating cloud services, including messaging and integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, to enable modern, connected digital services across the School.
As a subject matter expert, you will mentor colleagues, influence architectural decisions and collaborate with academic and professional services teams to translate business and research needs into sustainable cloud solutions
Main Responsibilities
<ul><li>Design, deliver and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms using Microsoft Azure.</li><li>
Lead the use of Infrastructure as Code approaches, including Terraform.</li><li>
Drive automation and CI/CD practices through Azure DevOps.</li><li>
Support the development of cloud strategy and evaluate cloud services and technologies.</li><li>
Design templates for code-driven cloud deployments with strong governance and security controls.</li><li>
Provide implementation guidance for modernising IaaS workloads into PaaS, containers or serverless solutions.</li><li>
Support the operation of resilient and scalable service bus capabilities to reduce point-to-point integrations.</li><li>
Work with application owners and developers to migrate integrations towards service bus patterns.</li><li>
Implement logging, monitoring, cost management, code repository and deployment lifecycle standards.</li><li>
Ensure cloud services meet security, availability and sustainability requirements.</li><li>
Share knowledge and support colleagues in building and operating cloud infrastructure.</li></ul>

The Role

Help shape quality across a world-class technology environment
London Business School are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to help drive quality across our technology delivery teams and ensure solutions are designed, built, tested and released to robust and transparent quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on testing professional who combines strong technical capability with a passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
You will be accountable for driving quality within a multidisciplinary delivery team, ensuring that solutions are designed, built, tested and released to robust and transparent quality standards.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps and stakeholders, you will lead testing strategy and execution within your domain, combining automation, exploratory testing and structured UAT to ensure confidence in delivery.
This role balances hands-on technical testing with leadership in quality practices, acting as a champion for quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
