QA Engineer (Hybrid Position)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. The QA Engineer will design and execute automated tests to ensure that software applications meet quality standards and functional requirements. This includes developing test scripts, determining priorities for test scenarios, and creating execution plans to validate system functionality. The role involves designing documentation for automated processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to all phases of the software testing life cycle within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform software quality assurance, testing, and support for Client applications including TIERS, YourTexasBenefits.com, YourTexasBenefits Mobile App, State Portal, Workflow Management, Eligibility Web Services, Enterprise Document Services, Enterprise Content Management, Document Center, Call Center Inquiry, and other Social Services applications.
• Develop, enhance, maintain, and execute test plans and scenarios for web-based J2EE/Portal applications within Client's Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform using Agile methodologies.
• Participate in requirements analysis, test design, test data preparation, and functional testing of various application components.
• Collaborate with development, business, and infrastructure teams to achieve project goals and resolve testing issues.
• Create and maintain technical and design documentation for testing processes and results.
• Employ contemporary testing methods and best practices to ensure applications perform accurately and reliably.
• Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and implementation efforts.
• Participate in program design, code reviews, and test walk-through meetings to ensure adherence to standards and customer requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Hours & Location:

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite
