QA Engineer (Manual + Automation – Cypress & Gherkin Preferred)

We’re looking for a QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience (1–2 years) and at least 6 months of hands-on experience in automation testing.

Experience with Cypress and Gherkin-based BDD is highly preferred. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing manual test cycles and progressively expanding automated test coverage.

Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases to validate new features, regression areas, and bug fixes.

Design, develop, and maintain basic automated test scripts (preferably using Cypress and Gherkin syntax).

Assist in creating and managing test data, fixtures, and test environments.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure complete and effective test coverage.

Help implement and maintain page object models and step definitions under guidance.

Log, track, and verify bugs using issue-tracking tools, providing clear and detailed documentation.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to uphold QA best practices.

Requirements:

1–2 years of experience in manual QA testing.

At least 6 months of hands-on experience in automation testing (Cypress and Gherkin preferred).

Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing test scripts.

Familiarity with test data management and data-driven testing techniques.

Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
