Senior Application Engineer

About the Role

Descon is seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join our Digital Transformation team . You’ll design and develop web and desktop applications , automate business processes, and integrate enterprise platforms like SAP to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy custom web and desktop applications using .NET, Python, React/Angular .
• Integrate applications with SAP , Primavera , and document management systems.
• Build and manage APIs and ensure smooth system integration .
• Automate data workflows and create Power BI dashboards for reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for solution delivery.
• Ensure compliance with security (OWASP) and IT governance standards.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: .NET (C#), Python, JavaScript (React/Angular), SQL, REST APIs, HTML/CSS, Oracle APEX (preferred).
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Tools & Platforms: Git, Azure DevOps, Postman, Docker, Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications: Power Platform Developer, SAP Development Associate, ITIL Foundation, Scrum Developer.
