QA Engineer (Morning Shift)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer (Mid Level) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will play a key role in identifying bugs, evaluating software performance, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure a flawless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API response, and performance testing to ensure overall product quality
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution, ensuring timely closure
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and provide early feedback from a QA perspective
• Review technical design documents and specifications to provide timely and actionable feedback
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts, including API test scripts using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Validate API responses for accuracy, error handling, and data integrity based on expected outcomes
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)
• Ensure high-quality releases by thoroughly verifying build stability and conducting post-release validation in production environments
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Good communication and analytical skills

Shift Timings: 10:00am -7:00pm
