QA Inspector

In the QA Inspector position, you will perform routine testing on quality of in-process or finished goods according to Company standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. This person also collects samples and performs assigned inspection tasks using various types of equipment. In this role, you will also ensure that documentation is complete and accurate. The QA Inspector performs in-process inspections utilizing visual and technical measurement methods to accept or reject product to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company/regulatory standards.

This opening is on a Swing Shift schedule. You will work 3 days on 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) and then 3 days on 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) and then have your next 3 days off. This does include weekends.

Hours:

• 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)
• 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am)

Qualifications:

• Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional drawings.
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Must be able to read and interpret a blue print drawing correctly.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong leadership skills
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
• Use of depth perception, close vision, and color vision are all continuously required.
• Interact with all levels of leadership and supervisory staff
• A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Apply abstract concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Hourly pay range is $19.00 to $21.00 DOQ
