Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that products meet company standards before release. This role is perfect for someone eager to start a career in software testing and quality control in a collaborative and learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing test cases (manual and automated) to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using appropriate tools.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing under the supervision of senior QA staff.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely feedback.
• Help prepare test data, environments, and reports for ongoing projects.
• Stay updated with basic QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA testing processes.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla is a plus.
• Knowledge of manual testing; exposure to automation testing is a bonus.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
