QA Lead

About Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process across our products and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and mentor QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, test plans, and testing procedures.
• Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
• Identify, report, and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor QA effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
• Ensure release readiness and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field (or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Lead, QA Manager, or Senior QA Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Hands on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
• Familiarity with performance, security, and regression testing.
• Experience testing SaaS products or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
• QA certification (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.).
• Experience in process improvement initiatives within QA teams.
