Job Purpose:

To manage and implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems for building construction projects, ensuring all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, QCS, BS, ASTM, and ISO standards
  • Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs, MARs, MIRs, and WIRs.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure workmanship quality and compliance
  • Identify non-conformities and raise NCRs, follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure proper implementation of approved construction procedures on site
  • Supervise and guide QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and site teams
  • Ensure testing of materials (concrete, steel, blocks, waterproofing, finishing materials, etc.)
  • Review test results and ensure corrective actions for failed tests
  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and handover documentation
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits
  • Support project handover and final inspection activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 Years of Experience required.
