Job Purpose:
To manage and implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems for building construction projects, ensuring all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, QCS, BS, ASTM, and ISO standards
- Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs, MARs, MIRs, and WIRs.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors
- Monitor construction activities to ensure workmanship quality and compliance
- Identify non-conformities and raise NCRs, follow up on corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure proper implementation of approved construction procedures on site
- Supervise and guide QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and site teams
- Ensure testing of materials (concrete, steel, blocks, waterproofing, finishing materials, etc.)
- Review test results and ensure corrective actions for failed tests
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and handover documentation
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Support project handover and final inspection activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (preferred).
- Minimum of 12 Years of Experience required.
