Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor quality assurance and quality control activities across project sites.
- Implement the quality assurance policy defined by the Project Manager.
- Develop project-specific Quality Plans during bidding and execution stages.
- Ensure proper implementation and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain and update the company’s Quality Assurance Manual and quality procedures.
- Perform and report internal quality audits of systems, procedures, and processes.
- Administer Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and customer feedback records.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality compliance and support site QA/QC staff.
- Prepare Method Statements and Construction Procedures.
- Follow up on daily site inspections and pending RFIs.
- Ensure all materials comply with approved Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and client approvals.
- Ensure the Project Quality Plan is implemented through all stages up to handover and commissioning.
- Maintain and control all project quality documentation and records.
- Coordinate with Estimation during tender stage to establish preliminary Quality Plans.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to align Quality Plans with Construction Plans.
- Coordinate with Procurement for inspection of purchased materials.
- Liaise with client-appointed quality inspection teams to resolve QA/QC issues.
- Manage and supervise QA/QC site staff and daily operational quality matters.
- Coordinate with third-party certification bodies and ISO certifiers such as the International Organization for Standardization to ensure compliance with ISO procedures.
- Coordinate with local and international institutions to update company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry (GCC experience preferred).
- Professional quality certification (ISO Lead Auditor preferred).
- Good understanding of construction processes and documentation control.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
