Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Lead with a strong background in the eCommerce domain to lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers. This role requires a leader who is passionate about quality, well-versed in QA best practices, and capable of driving excellence in testing across fast-paced digital projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation) across multiple concurrent projects.

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases based on business and technical requirements.

Ensure high test coverage and maintain standards for test case design and execution.

Drive the setup and optimization of test environments, test data, and automation frameworks.

Oversee the development and maintenance of automation scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and others.

Track and report key QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect density, test execution progress).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, DevOps, and project management to ensure quality deliverables.

Advocate for and implement best practices in QA processes, continuous testing, and quality governance.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline QA activities and improve product quality.

Communicate QA status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a QA leadership role.

Proven experience in eCommerce domain testing (web, mobile, APIs).

Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing methodologies and tools:

Automation: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Karate, etc.

API Testing: Postman, REST-assured, etc.

Solid understanding of test case design techniques, optimization strategies, and test data management.

Familiarity with QA metrics tracking and reporting tools.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within DevOps workflows.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
