About the Role:
A reputed Company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our engineering and construction division. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects and processes meet the highest quality standards and comply with company, client, and international specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and test plans as per project requirements.
- Conduct material inspections, welding inspections, and NDT coordination in compliance with project specifications.
- Review project quality documentation, method statements, and inspection test plans.
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures, standards, and codes.
- Coordinate with the client, consultant, and third-party inspectors on quality issues.
- Prepare quality reports, NCRs, and corrective/preventive action reports.
- Verify calibration of testing and inspection equipment.
- Maintain and update all quality documentation for audits and client reviews.
- Support continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives across projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC within energy, power, or heavy mechanical projects (preferably MAN Energy or similar EPC environment).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ASME, ASTM, and international QA/QC standards.
- Experience with fabrication, installation, and commissioning QA/QC processes.
- Certification such as CSWIP, AWS-CWI, ISO Lead Auditor, or ASNT Level II will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams.
