About the Role:A reputed Company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our engineering and construction division. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects and processes meet the highest quality standards and comply with company, client, and international specifications.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and test plans as per project requirements.</li><li>Conduct material inspections, welding inspections, and NDT coordination in compliance with project specifications.</li><li>Review project quality documentation, method statements, and inspection test plans.</li><li>Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures, standards, and codes.</li><li>Coordinate with the client, consultant, and third-party inspectors on quality issues.</li><li>Prepare quality reports, NCRs, and corrective/preventive action reports.</li><li>Verify calibration of testing and inspection equipment.</li><li>Maintain and update all quality documentation for audits and client reviews.</li><li>Support continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives across projects.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years of experience in QA/QC within energy, power, or heavy mechanical projects (preferably MAN Energy or similar EPC environment).</li><li>Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ASME, ASTM, and international QA/QC standards.</li><li>Experience with fabrication, installation, and commissioning QA/QC processes.</li><li>Certification such as CSWIP, AWS-CWI, ISO Lead Auditor, or ASNT Level II will be an added advantage.</li><li>Excellent communication and reporting skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proactive approach to quality assurance and risk management.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Have you ever worked with marine diesel Engine Industries with components such such as liners, exhaust valve spindles, cylinder heads, alpha lubricators, hydraulic pumps, if yes how many years.?</li></ul>

QA/Q Engineer

Job Purpose:To operate and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety and operational procedures.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (lathe, milling, or turning centers) to produce parts as per technical drawings and work instructions.</li><li>Review blueprints, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure correct machining operations.</li><li>Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining processes.</li><li>Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.</li><li>Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure tools are in optimal working condition.</li><li>Adjust machine parameters to improve quality, efficiency, and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain production documentation, inspection reports, and records of work performed.</li><li>Follow company safety standards and quality procedures at all times.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality inspectors to resolve machining and process issues.</li><li>Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in heavy engineering or energy sector (experience in MAN engines or similar is an advantage).</li><li>Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain controls).</li><li>Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&amp;T symbols.</li><li>Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.</li><li>Ability to perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety consciousness.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>CNC programming and operation</li><li>Technical drawing interpretation</li><li>Problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Quality awareness and attention to detail</li><li>Teamwork and communication skills</li><li>Time management and flexibility</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentPay: Up to QAR9,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience in CNC programming if yes how many?</li></ul>
