QA/QC Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for multi-million dollar EPC and engineering projects. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, processes, and deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards for projects.

· Prepare and Review project procedure, and quality plans to ensure compliance.

· Schedule and conduct Audits

· Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities at all stages.

· Monitor welding, fabrication, and installation processes to ensure adherence to standards.

· Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and records.

· Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues.

· Conduct audits to verify compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.

· Support the development of corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

· Train and mentor team members on quality practices and standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.

· 3–8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within EPC or oil & gas projects.

· Strong knowledge of international quality standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.).

· Certification in QA/QC or related field (e.g., ASNT, AWS, CSWIP) preferred.

· Experience with welding inspection, NDT, and material testing procedures.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹296,290.65 - ₹1,329,655.29 per year
