QA/QC Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer/Inspector with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction activities and materials comply with the required standards and project specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and control systems, conducting inspections, and coordinating with site teams to maintain quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Maintain documentation related to material approvals, inspection reports, method statements, and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding quality issues and inspection schedules.
• Perform internal audits and participate in external audits as required.
• Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure that all materials used on site are as per approved specifications and submittals.
• Review and approve subcontractors' quality documentation, including test reports and material compliance.
• Support the site team in technical and quality-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Knowledge of local and international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DDA, and other UAE regulatory requirements.
• Excellent understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality control software is a plus.
• Certification in QA/QC, ISO, or related fields is an advantage.
