QA/QC Engineer

Job Purpose:

QA/QC Engineer -Interior Fit- Out is responsible for ensuring that all interior and finishing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards, while maintaining proper documentation, inspections, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, checklists, and inspection plans Test plans (ITPs) specific to fit -out projects (e.g. partitions ceilings flooring, joinery, finishes, furniture).
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship, materials, and finishes meet approved standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and samples.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure non-conformances are properly recorded, analyzed, and closed with corrective actions.
• Maintain all QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test results, and material approvals in compliance with ISO standards.
• Liaise with project engineers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of works.
• Attend project, quality, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support project cost forecasting, budgeting, and value engineering activities.
• Ensure that all work practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in interior fit-out / finishing projects (preferably in UAE or GCC).
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Familiar with international quality standards, codes, and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC documentation software.

License/ Certifications:

Driving License must
