QA/QC Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience: 5–10 Years
Industry: Civil / Infrastructure / Construction Projects

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Master’s Degree in Civil, Construction, or Quality Management (Preferred)

Certifications (Preferred):

• ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – ASQ or equivalent
• NEBOSH / IOSH (for HSE awareness)
• PMP / CQCP (added advantage)

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years in QA/QC for civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong background in concrete, finishing, structural, and infrastructure activities
• Experience with consultants, clients, and contractors on major projects
• Familiarity with UAE / GCC construction standards and specifications

Technical Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of ITPs, method statements, and QC procedures
• Skilled in construction material testing and acceptance criteria
• Ability to prepare and review WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and CARs
• Capable of reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documents
• Knowledge of ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO, and other international standards

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and reporting ability
• Capable of conducting site inspections and quality audits
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management software
