Senior Procurement/Expediting Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior P rocurement & Expediting Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry . The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant experience in EPC projects , responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials to meet project schedules.

Key Responsibilities: Procurement:

• Review material requisitions (MRs) and technical specifications from engineering.
• Source, evaluate, and prequalify vendors and suppliers.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate commercial offers, and participate in bid tabulation.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery conditions.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with commercial and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with project procurement procedures and client requirements.
  
  

Expediting

• Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgment, production status, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor supplier progress to ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection schedules and dispatch clearance.
• Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
• Maintain expediting reports and dashboards for internal and client reporting.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 15+ years of procurement and expediting experience in oil & gas, preferably with EPC contractors or operators.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, project procurement, and material tracking.
• Familiar with international procurement standards (INCOTERMS, API/ASME specs).
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
